FRED JAECKLE, VICE PRESIDENT OF PRE-CONSTRUCTION AND ESTIMATING AT S. M. WILSON, TO RETIRE AFTER 20 YEARS OF SERVICE

St. Louis, Mo., November 30, 2015 – Fred Jaeckle, Vice President of Pre-Construction and Estimating at S. M. Wilson & Co., will be retiring at the end of the year after 20 years of service to the company and 45 years in the construction industry.  Jaeckle has worked on hundreds of commercial, healthcare, retail, education, senior living and industrial projects during his career with S. M. Wilson worth more than a billion dollars. Over his 20 years at S. M. Wilson, Fred has honed the company’s pre-construction and estimating services.

“Fred has been a mainstay on our team since his arrival here, and we greatly appreciate his service and the value he has added to our projects,” said Amy Berg, President of S. M. Wilson. 

“Fred joined our company in 1995 and soon after helped us land our first negotiated project,” said Scott Wilson, Chief Executive Officer of S. M. Wilson.  “We will miss him and the contributions he has made to our business.”

Jaeckle has been involved with the Labor Committee and Carpenter Negotiating Team of the Associated General Contractors of St. Louis in recent years.  He also serves on the board of directors of St. Louis ARC.
