St. Louis, Mo., November 3, 2015 – Stephens College has selected the joint venture of Reinhardt Construction Company and S. M. The 22,090 square foot, $5.9 million project will create a home for the school’s new Physician Assistant program.

Renovations to the three-story existing building will create a new physician assistant laboratory, cadaver laboratory, four exam rooms and a hospital room for student training.  Other new features will include offices for faculty and staff, a message room and a large classroom/multi-purpose room.

Further, a new 5,850 square foot addition to Sampson Hall will be built to provide more new space for new restrooms, an elevator, IT closets and a staircase providing additional access to the laboratories designed for hands-on training for students.
