S. M. WILSON PROMOTES JASON GASAWSKI TO PROJECT MANAGER

St. Louis, Mo., June 21, 2017 – S. M. Wilson & Co. has promoted Jason Gasawski to Project Manager. He will be responsible for handling all administrative functions for a project, including scheduling, holding progress meetings, generating  meeting minutes, tracking costs and maintaining logs for all project information.

Gasawski joined S. M. Wilson in 2010 and has worked on a variety of retail, commercial and industrial construction projects including Metal Container Corporation Line 5 and The Orion. He is currently managing multiple Target store renovations. Gasawski holds a B.A. from Southern Illinois University– Edwardsville and has 12 years of experience in the construction industry. S. M. WILSON NAMES BOB CASHDOLLAR, MPM AS SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

St. Louis, Mo., April 3, 2017 – S. M. Wilson & Co, has hired Bob Cashdollar, MPM. as a Senior Project Manager.

Cashdollar will be responsible for managing multi-million dollar retail construction projects. His duties include project planning, scheduling, tracking costs and maintaining logs for all project information. He has 25 years of experience in the construction industry, and has worked on a variety of retail, hospitality, education, historic renovation and commercial projects.

S. M. WILSON WINS 2016 CONSTRUCTION KEYSTONE PROJECT OF THE YEAR AWARD FOR ST. LOUIS IKEA STORE PROJECT

St. Louis, Mo., November 16, 2016 — The Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Missouri has named S. M. Wilson & Co. a winner of the 2016 Keystone Project of the Year award for the construction of the IKEA St. Louis store, which opened in September 2015. The project took first place in the General Contractor/Construction Manager/Prime Contractor Building Construction Project $40 Million or More category. S. M. S. M. WILSON & CO. IS BUILDING NEW $6 MILLION FIRE STATION HEADQUARTERS FOR CITY OF MAPLEWOOD

St. Louis, Mo., September 12, 2016 – The City of Maplewood, Missouri has selected S. M. Wilson & Co. to build a new $6 million fire station headquarters to house the City’s fire department. The 18,897 square foot facility is being built on City property just west of Maplewood City Hall and will replace the current fire station, which is more than 50 years old.

The first floor will feature offices, along with a training and multi-purpose room. Living quarters, a dayroom, kitchen and dining area will be located on the second floor. Mee joined S. M. Wilson in 2007 as a Project Engineer and has worked on a variety of federal, retail and healthcare construction projects. He has 10 years of experience in the construction industry. S. M. WILSON CHOSEN BY COR JESU ACADEMY TO MANAGE CONSTRUCTION OF NEW PERFORMANCE GYMNASIUM AND STUDENT COMMONS

Wilson & Co. to manage construction of the school’s new $8.9 million, 39,400 square foot, three-level performance gymnasium and student commons complex as part of the school’s long range campus enhancement plan. Slated for completion in the fall of 2017, this innovative new space gives Cor Jesu the opportunity to add new course offerings and state-of-the-art learning, while also growing the school’s sports programs. The project is being funded by a $9.5 million capital campaign launched in 2014 to provide a range of new facilities including a new chapel, plus site improvements and more financial aid for qualifying students at this private Catholic girls’ high school in South St. Louis County. S. M. WILSON SELECTED FOR $31 MILLION RENOVATION AND EXPANSION OF UNIVERSITY LIBRARY AND COMMONS

millikin_commons_rendering-800x500 St. Louis, Mo., January 28, 2016 – S. M. Wilson & Co. has been selected to renovate and expand the University Commons at Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois. The $31 million, 85,000 square foot project will focus on renovating and reconfiguring the existing Staley Library and building a large addition to the structure.

When completed, the University Commons will feature the Staley Library, a new Oberhelman Center for Leadership Performance, the WJMU radio station, a New Technologies Studio and the University’s Math Center, Writing Center and Media Arts Center. The expanded University Commons will feature space for dining areas including a marketplace food court, a grill/bistro, a cafe and a large, dividable conference/banquet space. Other features will include the Center for International Education, Student Success Center, Office of Inclusion and Student Engagement and spaces for collaboration and student organizations. CREVE COEUR FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT SELECTS S. M. WILSON TO BUILD NEW FIRE STATION

St. Louis, Mo., January 11, 2015 – S. M. JESSICA BARBER JOINS S. M. WILSON AS CRM AND MARKET RESEARCH COORDINATOR

St. Louis, Mo., December 14, 2015 – Jessica Barber has joined S. M. Wilson & Co. as coordinator of customer relationship management and market research. She will support the company’s marketing and business development efforts by organizing and managing the firm’s customer relationship management (CRM) system, which includes researching and gathering project, company, personnel and industry data as well as potential opportunities and clients. STEPHENS COLLEGE SELECTS REINHARDT/WILSON JOINT VENTURE TO RENOVATE SAMPSON HALL AND BUILD NEW ADDITION

St. Louis, Mo., November 3, 2015 – Stephens College has selected the joint venture of Reinhardt Construction Company and S. M. Wilson & Co. to renovate and build a new addition to Sampson Hall on its campus in Columbia, Missouri. The 22,090 square foot, $5.9 million project will create a home for the school’s new Physician Assistant program.

Renovations to the three-story existing building will create a new physician assistant laboratory, cadaver laboratory, four exam rooms and a hospital room for student training.  Other new features will include offices for faculty and staff, a message room and a large classroom/multi-purpose room. St. Louis, Mo., October 26, 2015 – Ed Kerkhover, AIA of Kerkhover + Studio + Architects and Harrisburg Community Unit School District #3 have selected S. M. Wilson & Co. to build $16 million of renovations and additions at the District’s high school in Harrisburg, Illinois. The 53,563 square foot project will feature demolition of the school’s current gymnasium, construction of a new gymnasium and replacement of the school’s current Building ‘C’ with a new classroom building.
