Community Center
The building program included construction of a 55,000 SF community recreation center with indoor & outdoor pools, aerobic/multi-purpose rooms, a gymnasium, walking track, equipment rooms, locker rooms, lobby, meeting rooms and administrative support areas. S. M. Wilson & Co. faced several challenges in the construction phases, including complex sitework and interfacing with other potential design elements on the campus.
S. M. Wilson’s experience on several similar recreational facilities and our ability to provide very early conceptual estimating, were a few of the reasons we were selected for this project. In addition, we were also chosen because of our pre-construction team’s ability to work closely with the architect and multiple user groups to program a facility that incorporates the needs of a diverse group.
